2025 Tunnels to Towers 5k Event

The Detroit chapter of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation held its annual 5K Run & Walk on September 6, 2025, at Lake St. Clair Metropark in Harrison Township, Michigan. This event honored the heroic legacy of firefighter Stephen Siller, who died on 9/11 while running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to help others. Funds raised supported the foundation’s mission to assist fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families.
The Rotary Club of Mount Clemens was proudly present in support of the Tunnel to Towers mission, reflecting our deep commitment to community service and making a positive impact locally. Our participation underscored the shared values of honoring sacrifice, fostering community spirit, and serving those who protect and uplift others. Together, the event and Rotary’s involvement highlighted the power of collaborative community efforts to create meaningful change and support heroes and their families.
