2025 Boat Outing

Welcome to the Mount Clemens Rotary Club

We’re delighted to welcome you to the online home of the Rotary Club of Mount Clemens—where community leaders, professionals, and neighbors come together to create lasting change. Since our founding in 1920, our club has been dedicated to service above self. As part of Rotary International, we are committed to making a difference both locally and globally through hands-on service projects, community partnerships, and fellowship.

Our Mission
To unite leaders from all walks of life to take action, exchange ideas, and build stronger communities—right here in Mount Clemens and around the world.

Our Vision
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Our Values
We are guided by the principles of Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity, and Leadership. These values shape our actions and inspire us to be people of purpose and impact.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the area, we invite you to explore our site, learn more about our service projects, and consider joining us at one of our weekly meetings or events. We’d love to meet you!
Rotary Club Service Areas: Avenues of Impact
At the Rotary Club of Mount Clemens, service isn’t just something we do it’s who we are. Our projects are designed to meet real needs, foster meaningful connections, and create a lasting impact across our community and beyond.

We focus our efforts through Rotary’s five Avenues of Service:

- Community Service: From food drives and literacy programs to beautification efforts and local partnerships, we work hand-in-hand with neighbors to uplift lives and strengthen our shared spaces. We proudly support and participate in community-sponsored events throughout the region—whether it’s marching in the Santa parade, sponsoring a carving at the ice carving show, lending hands at local fundraisers, or collaborating with fellow service clubs or local nonprofits to uplift causes that matter. Through service, fellowship, and civic pride, Rotary members help bring these events to life and strengthen the bonds that make our community thrive.

- Youth Service: We empower the next generation through mentorship, scholarships, leadership development. Rotary offers formal leadership programs like Interact (ages 12–18), Rotaract (ages 18–30), and Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). These programs foster civic engagement and personal growth. In addition to the global Rotary initiatives, the Rotary Club of Mount Clemens proudly administers the Don Torline Scholarship and the Pierson Memorial Scholarship, honoring two legacies of service and education. These scholarships, awarded annually, reflect Rotary’s enduring commitment to empowering youth, fostering leadership, and investing in the future of our local workforce.

- International Service: We collaborate with Rotary clubs worldwide to promote peace, health, and access to clean water—extending our reach far beyond borders.

- Vocational Service: We celebrate ethical leadership and professional excellence, offering career guidance and recognizing those who serve with integrity.

- Club Service: We build fellowship and leadership within our club, strengthening the bonds within our club through shared experiences and social events.

Each project or activity is rooted in Rotary’s seven areas of focus, including education, economic development, and environmental stewardship. From fundraising to support local nonprofits or community organizations, to cleaning up local parks, to hosting events to support environmental improvements abroad, to building fellowship within the club, our united goal is Service Above Self.
