RECOGNITION ~ ERIC PIERSON
First fine goes to Jeff Furest and it is for multiple reasons $5 for failing to fine our recently past (not passed) President Larry Neal. (First chance in a year, now he is not president.)
Last week his father got fined for fish and yet Jeff posted the pictures of all those fish with himself in picture and not his dad Bill.
Bill Furest was then fined for bringing his boat to Rotary parking it right outside the windows and taking up five parking places. $5
Bob Cannon was fined for award he was already fined for! SEMCOG Regional Award only $1 this time.
Beth Pryor for a photo of Steve holding a fish $5
Sarah Lee - Eric was awaiting his hair cut in a beauty salon (?) when he heard Sarah’s voice on the television hawking beauty products. $5
Poor Nancy got hit for defending her granddaughter Luca’s opportunity to wear her very own honorary club membership name badge. The setup committee did not bring the little suitcase filled with our name badges for us to proudly display. Luca was so distraught she hardly ate her lunch. Pity fine was only $2
SPEAKER - JEFF FUREST
Everyone received a packet at the door upon entry. Jeff went on to define the details of our awesome 100th club anniversary party. Live entertainment (two bands!). Ultra premium wine and spirits! Great food! He explained Decades Sponsorships, VIP tables, pre event experiences and live auction items, all of which are colorfully displayed in our packet. If you missed this meeting you missed the excitement! Pick up your explanation packet at our next meeting.
The date of the black tie event was changed to June 5, 2020.
Our Foundation chair for the event will be none other than LPGA legend NANCY LOPEZ. She will not only be there In Person meeting and greeting, but she is donating golf for 3 with her, a personal 1/2 day lesson from her and her staff all at her course at Pipers Landing in Palm City, Florida. Capping that day off with a “memory dinner”
All of us were pumped! This will be the party of the century! Literally!
50/50 tickets will be $100 each three prizes of $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000. Only 300 tickets will be sold.
Jeff needs to be congratulated on all the work that has gone into the start of making this celebration so memorable.
George Penna then spoke about his involvement in our party. He is pulling out all the stops on the food, moreso than any other party he has done.
I don’t know about you, but I left that meeting psyched and ready to get rolling!
50/50 WINNER - Mark Zuccaro
