Rotarians met in the bar for a few cokes (but more than a few Bloody Marys!) prior to lunch. It was held at Gowanie G.C., part of our annual Dick Pierson Golf Outing. Hamburgers, hot dogs, coleslaw and homemade potato chips were the fare of the day.
President Larry welcomed everyone and thanked them for supporting our golf outing.
Joe Casasanta did a fine job organizing the outing this year. Many Rotarians called the PGA Professionals to bring in “ringers” in order to top Jeff Furest’s group name on the trophy. As hard as he tried, though, Joe could not control the weather! It rained most of the morning. But that didn’t keep the diehard golfers away. There were eight foursomes.
