Each year, we are blessed to be able to help the folks at Turning Point. We adopt families and help them bring the Christmas spirit to their family during their challenging times. I would invite you to take a look at the items we are looking for. Sign up for as many slots as you would like (we need to fill them all!).
I have also included cash donations if you would like to do that. I can charge your account and shop for you! Thank you...for opening your hearts to those in need!
Presents may be brought to Rotary. Due no later than December 17 at the Christmas Party.
This is the time of the year that we begin thinking about Christmas! Once again, we will be participating in our Giving Tree for Turning Point. This year, we are adopting five families that are going through a very difficult time. WE, as a club, can bring a little Christmas spirit to their family.
Because of our limited meeting times, I have created a sign up genius with a list of all the items that we will be looking for. Please click on the link below and take a look. Pick one, two, three...as many as you would like. Also, as in the past, I am happy to collect money and do the shopping for you! If you are interested in donating money, you can respond to this email and let me know how much to charge your account. I do not mind shopping at all!
Please return the wrapped presents to the Rotary meetings we have in November and December. If you are unable to make the meeting, I will be happy to meet you and pick up the gifts. I will also offer a free wrapping service if you do not want to wrap! Make sure that you LABEL the presents you are bringing back. Mark the number of the family and which child (ex... #1-16 yr - girl). That will help us keep everything organized! Thank you so much in advance for your generosity! I am in awe of how you all open your hearts to those going through such a hard time.

BELL RINGING at KROGER at CARD and 21 MILE ROAD - Nov. 28
from Jessica Johnson
In the way of service projects, this year has definitely challenged us as a club and as we all know, many projects had to be canceled. Without continuing to sound so dreary, I am here to share some GOOD news: The Salvation Army will still be accepting volunteers for Bell Ringers this holiday season! I have signed up the Mount Clemens Rotary Club and am hoping that you can find it in yourself to donate an hour (or more) of your time to help support such a worthy project. Below are the details- if you see a time slot that works for you, please let me know and thank you:
Salvation Army Bell Ringing Sign-up Kroger (Card & 21 Mile)- 21555 21 Mile Road, Macomb - Saturday, November 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
