Recognition

Julie Huttenlocher was at the reins again as the finer. Her first victim was Gary for failure to silence his phone. Because it was so loud and hurt Julie's ears, Gary received a $3 fine. Tom D received a $5 fine for being in Florida for a month. Kathleen B and Stephanie Mirabile caused some trouble for their table. Members of her table were fined for sitting with such incredible ladies who had matching nails to go with the upcoming Valentine’s Day. Julie H fined Bob Lee $2 for failure to read the email that went out earlier in the week. It would have been more but Scott C came to his rescue owing to the fact that he forgot to CC Bob L on the email. This earned Scott a $1 fine. Eric P was fined $4 for crashing into an ambulance with his truck. Fortunately, Eric and all paramedics walked away without injury. Eric was not the only one in an accident. Larry Neal rear-ended a car while going to dinner. Larry got to hang out in the cop car while paperwork was being filed. Afterward, the cop car escorted Larry to the restaurant with the lights on and everything. This concierge service earned Larry’s table a $5 fine.

Speaker

Tom Davies was our speaker for the day. He shared his recent trip to Africa with the family this past summer. He took us on a photo tour of the trip showing the beauty that Africa has to offer. The trip was to celebrate Tom and Jan’s 50th wedding anniversary. We got to see the glamorous presidential suite Tom and Jan were upgraded to, countless African wild game, and beautiful sunsets filled with cocktails and happiness. It was one of those presentations to see in person because words cannot describe.
